I came here with my husband for my birthday, absolutely loved it! We got the Tea For Two which includes the Afternoon Tea and a bottle of champagne. Everything was delicious and the service was great. Even my husband said that it was a lot better and more than he was expecting (as you can assume, the tea party-vibe was my idea). Our server brought out a happy birthday cupcake on top of what we got! They also have a bottomless mimosa option as well as bellinis by the glass. They have a huge tea option to match anyone’s taste. I highly recommend and would definitely return whenever I visit Las Vegas again. I just wish they had a geo/location tag. I couldn’t tag them on social media and had to tag the Sky Bar which was adjacent to the Tea Lounge.
Felt like a star
Good traditional tea service, cakes, sandwiches, and scones
Had tea reservations for 4 on Christmas Eve.. spent over $300 for stale sandwiches, “Jingles” only said hello, moved on to another guest.. then came to take our tea order 15 minutes later. By the time she brought our sandwich’s they were stale. We’ve had service from her before but this “ Holiday Treat” was the worst food & service by far!!! Next time I’ll spend my money on Walmart gift certificates instead...
Truly unbelievable food and service. Everything at the Waldorf will blow you away. Amazing tea, food, and view. This is a MUST try in Vegas.
Elegant tea lounge, great services, and delicious tea!
My favorite high tea in Vegas. $56per person when I went (this wasn't including mimosas). The view is awesome as you can see pretty far down the strip, and the food and teas are all excellent. The Tea Lounge is in the Waldorf Astoria and there is no public parking so you either need to Valet at the WA or park at the Aria and walk over. Valet is $10 if you have it validated at the Tea Lounge and you can pay with your meal. The tea pots for tea are big enough for 8 cups and each person gets their own. They will top off your water or warm the pot if it gets cold. The desserts are pretty high end, maybe a little fussy for me but I appreciate the attention to detail.
Great views and excellent service. The scones were amazing! My hubby is British and was really impressed with the tea selections. I would totally go back!
Wonderful place
Very wonderful way to celebrate anniversary. Thank you Jingles for a lovely time.
A little pricey. The food quality is on the same level comparing to those famous Vegas buffets. The view is amazing though. So you are basically paying for the view.
Loved the small bites!
Went for afternoon tea. Had a great view of the strip and the food was delicious. Our server was very knowledgeable about the teas and helped us pick ones we each enjoyed.
My gal pal and I booked a reservation with Tea Lounge for an afternoon tea service. I had called a few days prior to our reservation to request window seating. Booking a reservation was very easy, we booked online. The restaurant is located on the 23rd floor of the Waldorf Astoria. There are a limited amount of seats next to a floor to ceiling window. We got there a few minutes early and was seated right away, by the window as requested. You have a clear view of the strip, with both seats facing towards the window so, my friend and I can both enjoy the view. Over all the experience was superb. Food presentation was good and for the most part, delicious. We enjoyed every aspect of it. If you're into tea service, this is a must do.
Absolutely lovely from the view to the tea cups. One of a kind unique experience in the city of sin where anyone can feel like a princess. Go. Dress nice.
Food is okay but experience is good
Anyone who likes to brunch should consider it when in Las Vegas, afternoon tea is always pleasant. The view here is entertaining without the casino odor all neighbor buildings have.
I always try to find a tea room when traveling, and Tea Lounge did not disappoint. Beautiful view, excellent service, and a delicious assortment of sandwiches, scones, and treats.
The Tea Lounge in the Waldorf Astoria was so lovely. The service was excellent. Jingle was our server and when she found out my mother broke her arm that morning, she brought out a basket with a stuffed animal and handwritten get well card. It was so thoughtful. The $48 pp for afternoon tea was well worth it. It seems that the servings are small but surprisingly they were quite filling when accompanied by the tea. Ginger and Mango tea were our favorite. It came with 4 mini sandwiches, 2 scones and 4 mini desserts. There are only 3-4 tables that overlook the strip so be sure to ask for that when you make your reservation.
I know this isn't the Mandarin Oriental Hotel anymore, but it recently transitioned from so I'm comparing this tea experience to other Mandarin Oriental Tea Lounge's. The tea was great, as were the scones. The sandwiches, however, felt like the bread was days old and honestly the flavors just weren't exciting enough. The pastries were also just okay. The service was attentive and nice, but having done a few tea times at other Mandarin tea rooms I left feeling very underwhelmed. The tea lounge is just one side of the hotel lobby, which also lacked ambiance.
Tasty tea with a 23rd floor view of the strip. Their scones were kept well warmed in a napkin with a heated metal piece. Their desserts were very inventive, interesting and tasty. Their tiered tea service is on a stand next to your table which is excellent in not blocking the easy view of your companion/s and frees up more room on the smallish table. The service was very generous bringing more sugar stirers. The tea selection was a about a dozen each of caffeine, herbal and green. If you choose a reservation at the start of the any of the he time blocks, you can likely get a seat directly in front of the window. However, we sat one row back from the front and could easily enjoy the view. My favorite sandwich was the chicken curry and favorite dessert was their perfect chocolate macron.
A lovely experience. One of the best tea lounges I've been too. Food was good and sandwiches were on point. A little expensive, but it is vegas so I kind of expected it.
Best View & Service
This is our first time at the Waldorf Astoria’s Tea Lounge. At first, I was not sure if I would be back. However, the quality of food changed my mind. We were a party of seven and three of us arrived at 1335 hrs and we confirmed the reservation was for seven. Including our table there were seven tables with guests in the restaurant. The staff did not seem busy. We sat for ~15 minutes before she can over and asked my wife to move to one of the chairs with the place setting in place. This was confusing since there was a reservation for seven, as I mentioned, but only six place settings in place. When the seventh person came they added the place setting. As above the food was very nice and thus I will give it a second try. I still found the service was poor.
Wow! Wandered in at 11 (which is when they open, btw, I saw 10 somewhere but that's out of date). Got a table overlooking everything which was stunning. Imperial Dragon tea was amazing and staff was very nice. I need to go back for the full thing (tea, lunch, dessert). Never thought I'd say I paid $20 for a pot of tea and it was totally worth it.
We really appreciated that with 24hr notice there was a vegan option for afternoon tea! We had scrumptious avocado toast and the best cucumber sandwiches I’ve ever had along with mango chia pudding, a hazelnut cake, and various fruits. Wonderful service + staff, the hostesses were very helpful and our waitstaff kind and very knowledgeable. Beautiful lounge with lovely views. The flowery earl grey and jasmine white tea were perfect. Definitely try a Bellini made with fresh fruit purée, the passionflower one was to die for.
Great view of Las Vegas. Small lounge area that can accommodate a party of two to four nicely if your looking for close conversations. Wonderful tea choices and they also have decaf. They also serve champagne. Very pricey and upscale.
Lovely tea service
Located on the 23rd floor of the WA Hotel, the afternoon tea is not too big, but you can watch the casino on LasVegas Avenue, exquisite snacks and tea sets, and the service is very good! Clean and hygienic, the price of 48/US dollars is about one afternoon refreshment, excluding other expenses;
Great tea, great service, great views.
Came for the afternoon tea and it was amazing. Did the tea set and everything tasted great and the service was great, everyone was super friendly. Highly recommend
Beautiful view, very calming.
🥰 waaaaa I love here so much! Nice service and city view. The food was great I like the tea. Definitely come back again.
My wonderful mama friends took me to my first Vegas High Tea for my birthday...good times with some amazing woman...party of 8 please! Tea Lounge Service: The host stand seated us immediately after we checked in for our reservation. Our server was amazing and I wish I had gotten her name. Friendly and attentive during our visit, she checked on us frequently. She heard it was my birthday and brought out a birthday dessert for me, very nice. Tea and more: I went with the Jasmine Pearl White Tea and it was delicious. I also sampled the matcha green tea as a latte and it was also put together well. You can truly taste the high grade tea leaves used, excellent. All the tea sandwiches were pleasing both aesthetically and more importantly to taste. My #1 is the chicken curry with trumpet mushroom and Asian pear on a sesame cone. The Scones were my favorite overall though. They come served warm and the creams melt into them easily for maximum taste. Tea Lounge Ambiance: Located on the 23rd floor you get a great view of the Strip. Amazingly tall ceilings in high end Mandarin decor makes for an impressive and pleasant High Tea experience. Tables are spaced appropriately and it's a great place to catch up with your friends or a day date. Overall this is a great experience from beginning to end. The High Tea experience at the Mandarin is unique to the city and is definitely something to try at least once. It's pricey but I will definitely be back for another visit. That's another tale, enjoy!
To preface this review, I have done afternoon tea around the world. This has been by far the most disappointing experience. The dress code is "smart casual," but it's not really enforced. I'm not sure if they've recently redone the menu, but it was underwhelming. First, I'll cover the positives. The dessert selection was varied and offered something for every palette. My particular favorite was a semi-sweet chocolate tart with a white chocolate disk over the filling and topped off with a passion fruit jelly. The scones were also delicious. There were cranberry and plain scones. They came with clotted cream, lemon curd and raspberry jam. My favorite was the lemon curd as it was light and tart. The negatives were the finger sandwiches. We were only offered two, which I've never encountered at any afternoon tea. Typically, you receive a varied selection on finger sandwiches, but this service was lacking. There was one ham sandwich and one salmon. The salmon sandwich was okay. The sandwiches were also served with a bizarre cone? It was a sesame cone with sweet fig jam and a cheese flower. The cheese flower was pungent and had a strong flavor. I almost gagged and found myself having to eat more of the fig jam to drown out the flavor of the cheese. It was a rather unpleasant experience. I felt that the sandwiches and the cones definitely alienate a lot of guests who expect a more traditional afternoon tea. Another issue was that the table was coffee table height and made for uncomfortable seating. As a result, there were crumbs everywhere despite our efforts to maintain cleanliness. The tables were also quite small and made our area look cluttered. Service was friendly and the tea selection was good. Our tea did grow cold and it took a while before someone offered us fresh pots. Overall, I would not recommend afternoon tea service at the Waldorf Astoria as is. Maybe once the menu is redone or there is a special seasonal menu, the experience would be improved.
Good traditional tea service, cakes, sandwiches, and scones. Quiet (for Vegas) atmosphere with a view from the 23rd floor of the Waldorf Astoria and comfortable chairs. Very relaxing.
Elegant tea with a great view!
Lovely experience, great selection of teas & food. The ambience is very relaxing, and the view of Vegas is stunning. The tea sandwiches were lovely. Also, the hostess Jasmine was very kind and accommodating.
Loved their tea options. Everything looked beautiful and the food was well made.
Upon arrival, the valet took the car, we went into the building and took the elevator to the 23rd floor. There we were seated by the hostess and were approached by the waitress to ask if we had any questions. It was a fantastic experience. The staff made sure we were attended to constantly. The food....speechless. Variety, complexity, simplicity, it has it all. The tea was tea. They source their tea from Tea Station which I am I big fan of. It was cool to see the mandarin using a local Las Vegas company for their source.
Tea might not be what one traditionally thinks of as a Las Vegas activity, but a visit to the Mandarin Oriental’s tea lounge is well worth it. I have visited twice with my family and we agree that it is probably the best afternoon tea service we’ve had. The sandwiches and pastries are a nice mix of traditional tea sandwiches and more eclectic fare and the selection of available teas is very wide. I had a lovely birthday lunch there and would recommend it to anyone.
My first time having the Tea Service It was amazing. They are very accommodating if you don't eat certain items. My favorite of the sanwiches was the egg salad. It was absolutely delicious. The dessert were wonderful as well. Everything was beautifully presented.
Beautiful experience.
Worthwhile! Good for a casual or initmate date. Tea is delicious and customer service is exceptional! Nice break from the chaos of Vegas
The view is wonderful and the environment is very relaxing.
I love the tea and ambiance here. I've visited a few times with my family and even had a business meeting here. Try their blooming tea, it's a great experience. Don't be afraid to go if you ever never tried tea, they will walk you through it and give you a ton of details.
I hope the new Hotel Group will no longer be serving tea at the Mandarin Oriental on their own, as it is a wonderful experience. From the service, the tea and the sandwiches to the dessert, she's delicious. I suggest you enjoy a glass of champagne and a cake, and the view. You will not be disappointed.
Nice view at night
Amazing view, personable service, elegant and tasty food and a great cocktail menu. Las Vegas at its finest!
Absolutely incredible High Tea service. Literally everything was delicious! We will be back again and again!
